Leading step-up authentication for fraud prevention

Currently leading step-up authentication for fraud prevention across login and enrollment: a cross-product experience strategy built on the authentication foundation from my earlier work. In progress into 2026.

Live work, described at the domain level. I will open it up here as it takes shape.

What it is

Step-up authentication asks a user to prove themselves a little more when the risk is higher, without turning every sign-in into a checkpoint. I am leading this initiative across login and enrollment, the next layer on top of the authentication framework I helped consolidate.

How I am approaching it

I am running it in the open. Before designing screens, I am using vision workshops during cross-team collaborations to bring product areas around a shared experience strategy, so we surface dependencies and constraints early instead of discovering them late. I am also guiding two designers on the work, which means setting the direction and the bar as much as drawing the flows.

Where it stands

This is live work, in progress into 2026. I will open it up here as it takes shape and there is something concrete to show.
